All Apple Watch Models Are Currently on Sale Right now, every model in Apple's lineup, from the basic SE to the Ultra 2, is available at a discount. In September, Apple introduced its newest smartwatch, the Apple Watch Series 10, along with a black version of the Apple Watch Ultra 2. Each model has its own advantages and disadvantages, including the second-generation Apple Watch SE. The launch of these new watches means there are now more Apple Watch models on the market than ever before, leading to many great deals. In this article: • The best deals on Apple Watch Series 10 • The best deals on Apple Watch Series 9 • The best deals on Apple Watch SE • The best deals on Apple Watch Ultra 2 • A note about the more expensive models With so many options available, which one should you choose? Generally, it's a good idea to buy the newest watch you can afford to ensure you keep receiving software updates from Apple. The latest update, watchOS 11, was released in September for the Apple Watch Series 6 and newer models, leaving older Series 4 and Series 5 users behind. Choosing a watch from the latest or a recent generation means you will get a smartwatch with an updated design, many features, and lots of sensors. Now, let’s look at the deals. The Apple Watch Series 10 is the newest model in Apple's flagship lineup. It comes with the new S10 SiP chip, faster charging, and a larger OLED display that is brighter and easier to read than previous models. It weighs half as much as the Ultra and is about 30% thinner, even with its new sizes of 42mm and 46mm. Other improvements include a depth sensor, a water temperature sensor, and a new sleep apnea detection feature that has FDA approval. This last feature is also available on the previous Series 9 and Ultra 2. While these upgrades are nice, the Series 10 is not very different from the Series 9. However, you can already find the 42mm GPS model of the Series 10 on Amazon starting at $329.99 (about $69 off) with an on-page coupon. The 46mm GPS model is also available for $359.99 (about $69 off), and LTE models start at $429.99 (about $69 off), with discounts requiring you to clip the coupon. In 2023, Apple launched the Series 9 alongside the second-generation Ultra. It uses the older S9 SiP chip and a second-gen ultra-wideband chip for Siri processing and precise location tracking with some iPhone models. The Series 9 also features a bright 2,000-nit display and supports Apple's "double tap" feature—two small updates that are also found on the Series 10. Although the Series 9 has been available for over a year, some configurations are harder to find now that the new models are out. Fortunately, you can still get the GPS-equipped Series 9 in 41mm for $299.99 ($100 off) at Target or in 45mm for $329 ($100 off) at Walmart and Target. The Apple Watch SE was updated in late 2022. It has the same chip as the Series 8, which is great, but it has fewer sensors, no always-on display, and a slightly older design compared to the Series 8, Series 9, and Series 10. These features might not appeal to everyone, but it could be just what you need. Best of all, it starts at $249 for the 40mm Wi-Fi/GPS model, which is $30 less than the previous generation.
